A Discovery of Witches is a drama-fantasy romance series. Alice Troughton, Sarah Walker, Juan Carlos Medina, and Farren Blackburn directed the series. The writers of the story are Deborah Harkness, Kate Brooke, Sarah Daniel, Charlene James, and Tom Farrelly. It released on April 7, 2019.
Well, the series won hearts. The fans, as well as critics, gave positive reviews. It won’t be wrong to say, it is a spellbinding indeed! An engaging story with competent acting! No dull moments! The best part is, it is not like other magic or supernatural series. But, a perfect blend of history, myths, fiction, and romance.

Storyline
Well, it is a story about Diana Bishop. She is a historian and witch. She accesses Ashmole 782. Further, she knows she must solve its mysteries. She is offered help by the enigmatic Matthew Clairmont. But, he is a vampire. And, witches should never trust vampires! Yes! The story is quite interesting. And, the way it is presented adds more charm to it!
A Discovery Of Witches Season 2 Release
Creators announced Season 2 and Season 3 in November 2018. Well, there is no official announcement of the release date yet. But, we can expect it at the end of 2020. The production work is over. An update from the TV show’s official Twitter account said that 19 December 2020 was the last day of filming for Season 2. Since then, there are no further updates. Some are now speculating that Sky One might push Season 2 to 2021, which fans are not appreciating.
Further, no trailer has been out yet. So, we can not say anything about the plot. But, most probably it will be the continuation of Season 1. Also, it will be based on the novel. So, those who can’t wait for the show to arrive can go through the novel. So as to have better insights. And yes, with more twists and turns! The show will be released on Sky One.
Cast
The characters will be played by the same cast we saw in Season 1. There is no news regarding any new face introducing, till yet. This means Matthew Goode will be back as Matthew Clairmont and Teresa Palmer will also be back as Dr Diana Bishop. Other cast members like Alex Kingston and Edward Bluemel will also be back.
