Den Of Thieves is a 2018 American heist, action, thriller film. Christian Gudegast is the director, writer and producer for the movie. Other producers include Gerard Butler, Alan Siegel, Mark Canton, and Tucker Tooley. In addition, the cast of the film includes- Gerard Butler, Pablo Schreiber, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Evan Jones, Dawn Olivieri, Mo McRae, and Max Holloway. Moreover, the story is by Christian Gudegast and Paul Scheuring. Diamond Film Productions, Tucker Tooley Entertainment, and G-BASE are its production companies. Along with, STX Films as its producer. It came out on January 19, 2018.

Furthermore, the film has an approval rating of 40% out of 126 reviews. Although set in Los Angeles, California, Den of Thieves’ filming was in and around Atlanta, Georgia.

A sequel to the film is underworking. Christian Gudegast is returning as the director. As well as, Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. are going to reprise their roles for the sequel. Also, the announcement for the sequel was made in 2018. After that, in 2019, the official title for the sequel came out as- Den Of Thieves 2: Panthera. In addition, the sequel’s setting will take place all over Europe. And, as for the plot, Big Nick will chase after Donnie, who’s now associated with the Pink Panther Mafia, an international network of jewel thieves. As revealed in Den of Thieves, Donnie works as a London bartender near a diamond exchange.
For the sequel, Gudegast says that Big Nick will be chased down by an unknown person or organization, resulting in a mashup off subplots that will broaden the storyline across Europe. Moreover, the filming of the sequel will take place in London, Belgium, Marseilles, the Cote d’Azur, and Montenegro. However, we’re not sure when the film will come to the screens. It can be assumed that it is under production and may come out by the Summer of 2021. Also, as per the storyline, there can be new cast members joining in as well. But we’re not sure who they could be at the moment.
