Zoom is a remote conferencing platform founded in 2011. Its headquarters is located in California. Eric Yuan is the CEO of Zoom. Also, this lockdown seems promising for the company has the count of users has been increased tremendously in the past few months. Now Zoom is popular among many organizations.

They also have an option of free sign up and it is most appreciated. The company is at its peak and has more users like never before. The number of participants in a conference has been upgraded every year and now they have a limit of 100 participants at a time. They also have a time limit of 40 minutes for a conference.

It requires access to microphone and camera and also the user’s google data for better operation. With security issues, now Zoom is facing some legal problems. The issues are going for the past few years but now it is at its peak. New York has banned it from its schools. Also, many schools and government conferences all over the world have banned Zoom.

Eric Yuan Apologies As They Have ‘Fallen Short’

Eric Yuan, the CEO of Zoom has apologized to the users through a blog. He said that he is feeling sorry for the major issues as security and policies are very important aspects of a company and they have a problem with it. He also stated, ” We recognize that we have fallen short of the community and I feel sorry for that”. Hopefully, Zoom will have a legal corridor and they have to improvise their security and policies so that they’ll never face these issues further. But, it’ll take a long time to get back the fame they once had.
