It was on April 6, 2015, when Josiah and Marjorie Jackson began their relationship. When Josiah’s mother taught him and his siblings Spanish, the two became acquainted. Josiah didn’t begin to fall for Marjorie until they went on a mission trip to El Salvador in December of 2014, despite Marjorie’s claims to the contrary. On April 13, 2015, this relationship was made public.
The program 19 Kids and Counting was supposed to depict the couple’s relationship, but it was canceled before it could air. The pair dissolved their relationship on August 5, 2015. A statement from Josiah on March 9, 2016, said that Marjorie had made the decision to break up with Josiah. In spite of the speculation, it has never been proven that this split was caused by the controversy involving Josiah’s eldest sibling, Joshua.
While out with several of his brothers, Lauren Josiah appeared and asked Lauren Swanson to embark on a formal relationship, which she agreed to. On January 23, 2018, the Duggar family website posted an announcement about the two of them being romantically involved.
Marriage
On June 30, 2018, Josiah married Lauren Swanson in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, at John Brown University’s Cathedral of the Ozarks. For the wedding, he had a best man, groomsmen, and ring bearer: his brother Joseph; his brothers Jedidiah and Jeremiah; his brothers Jason and James; Austin; one of his new future brothers in law; Dustin; and a friend.

In October 2018, Josiah and Lauren were expecting a baby, however, the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. Asa was the name given to the newborn by his mother and father.
Their second child, expected in the fall of 2019, was revealed on May 20, 2019. They made the announcement on June 25, 2019, that they are expecting a baby girl. In the early hours of November 8, 2019, at 5:24 p.m., their daughter Bella Milagro was born, weighing 6 pounds, 5 ounces, and standing at 18.5 inches tall.
