Dan Levy Joins The Netflix Comedy Show In Upcoming Sex Education Season 4

Netflix drama Sex Education announced today that Schitt’s Creek alum Dan Levy has joined as a cast for Season 4.

He’ll play Thomas Molloy, a famous author, and Maeve’s (Emma Mackey’s) US tutor at her Ivy League college.

Season 4 also features Doctor Who’s Thaddea Graham, Kamikaze’s Marie Reuther, Felix Mufti, Anthony Lexa, Alexandra James, and Imani Yahshua, as well as newcomers Felix Mufti, Anthony Lexa, Alexandra James, and Imani Yahshua.

After the recent departures of Rakhee Thakrar as Emily Sands, Tanya Reynolds as Lily, Patricia Allison (aka Ola) as Lily’s romantic interest, and Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley, the new additions will fill the roles of those actors.

During the most recent season, Otis (Butterfield) has casual sex with Eric (Gatwa) and Adam (Swindells), and Jean (Anderson) expects a baby. There is also a new headteacher Hope, played by Jemima Kirke, trying to restore Moordale to its former glory, Aimee (Wood), discovering feminism, Jackson (Williams-Stirling), getting a crush, and a lost voicemail still hangs over Jackson’s head.

Per Netflix, in Season 4 “following the closure of Moordale Secondary, Otis and Eric now face a new frontier – their first day at Cavendish Sixth Form College. Otis is nervous about setting up his new clinic, while Eric is praying they won’t be losers again. But Cavendish is a culture shock for all the Moordale students – they thought they were progressive but this new college is another level. There’s daily yoga in the communal garden, a strong sustainability vibe and a group of kids who are popular for being… kind?! Viv is totally thrown by the college’s student-led, non-competitive approach, while Jackson is still struggling to get over Cal. Aimee tries something new by taking an Art A Level and Adam grapples with whether mainstream education is for him. Over in the US, Maeve is living her dream at prestigious Wallace University, being taught by cult author Thomas Molloy. Otis is pining after her, whilst adjusting to not being an only child at home, or the only therapist on campus.”

In Wales, UK, Season 4 is now being filmed.
