Black, standing alone on a stage with dramatic music playing in the background, grabbed a microphone and excitedly told the crowd at CinemaCon what’s next for his famous panda hero Po, who was last seen reunited with his father in the Valley of Peace.
Po will be the new spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace in “Kung Fu Panda 4,” but he has to find an unknown Dragon Warrior before he can do that. He seems to find one in Zhen, a fox with much potential who dislikes being trained by Po.

The two learn to get along in the end…But becoming a real master/student team was just the beginning. Black says The Chameleon is “totally scary and unfair” because he can bring back bad guys from previous “Kung Fu Panda” films, like Tai Lung. Po and Zhen must leave the Valley of Peace and go to the big city for the first time to find a way to beat The Chameleon.
“The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” in which Jack Black plays Bowser, is about to make $1 billion at the global box office, and Black’s love song “Peaches,” which he sings in the part of Bowser, is climbing up the Billboard Hot 100.
“Kung Fu Panda 4” will be in theatres on March 8, 2024.
