Jujutsu Kaisen has reached the end of the Culling Game arc. Fans have seen several great characters fight to the end in this arc, and while many have emerged victorious, some beloved characters have also perished.
Gojo and Sukuna’s long-awaited showdown took centre stage in the last months of Jujutsu Kaisen. It was inevitable that the two strongest characters in the series would eventually clash with one another.
In chapter 238 of Jujutsu Kaisen, it emerges that Hajime Kashimo has passed away. Although his dead body is not displayed, the fact that Sukuna utilized a significantly more dangerous version of the slashing move he defeated Gojo with should tell us everything we need to know.

To further drive home the point that he’s dead, the manga suddenly shifts gears to show Kashimo in his old form as Sukuna muses aloud about how many people Kashimo must have killed in the past.
As the sorcerer then returns to his current form, he exchanges a few words with the king of Curses, before we’re taken back to reality. Sukuna has more important things to do right now.
We can safely presume that Kashimo was struck by the cutting attack, even though we never see it happen on screen. What follows are the character’s final, delusional moments. To be fair, we knew that Kashimo would die by Sukuna’s hand because of the hints dropped in chapter 237.
But nobody anticipated it would take only two chapters for them to finally come to blows. Some viewers are also upset that, along with Gojo, Gege Akutami has chosen to kill off Kashimo out of sight, leaving his death open to interpretation. What a pity. What happens, happens.

Kashimo begins the bankruptcy by analyzing Sukuna’s physical appearance and deducing that, despite the latter’s usage of constant hand symptoms in his attacks, he will not run out of air because he possesses two mouths. It’s as if Kashimo knows that Sukuna is Perfection and wonderful, but he tries to attack anyhow, so he drives her away.
Sukuna’s actions beyond the veil are depicted in a well-known flashback in which he kills out the Five Void Generals and the Fujiwara clan’s Sun and Moon Squad. Even the Sugawara Clan’s Dessichin Squad and the Abe Clan’s Angels were forced to retreat under his pressure.
To avenge the death of Satoru Gojo, Sukuna begins screaming and planning a huge attack upon Kashimo known as The Slash that Cuts Worlds. Short, swift actions from Sukuna overwhelm Kashimo, as he unleashes a web of Dismantle that Kashimo can’t avoid.
The chapter then transitions to a flashback/imaginative and prescient section in which the old Kashimo is contacted through the use of Sukuna.
Sukuna informs Kashimo that by using his arms to murder all of the attackers, he has transformed into a merciful figure. When Kashimo inquires as to why Sukuna sacrificed his soul to be reborn in a technological marvel, Sukuna replies that love is a bunch of hogwash.
Sukuna claims he does what he desires and takes what he desires, now not being bothered if no one can degree as much as him. He claims he was never bored because people’s differences in taste always presented new challenges. In his modern form, Kashimo appears to have been slain.
A new twist is added to the crisis when Higuruma Hiromi and Yuji Itadori enter the fray following the collapse of the Domain that contained Uraume and Hakari. Nonetheless, Sukuna currently belittles Yuji. Claws have formed on Yuji’s arms.
