When will What If… season 2 be available online? We’ve had nine episodes on Disney Plus that have focused on the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s multiverse under the all-seeing eye of The Watcher. Captain Carter, the villainous Doctor Strange, Chadwick Boseman’s final film, and many other films have been released. In Phase 4, it offered us fresh perspectives on the franchise and concepts we’d never have otherwise.

WHAT IF…? SPOTTED THE RELEASE DATE FOR SEASON 2
Early in 2023, What If…? season 2 will premiere. As the first season of What If…? was being released, a second season was also announced. Head writer A.C. Bradley recently confirmed that the second season will debut on Disney Plus in 2022.

It’s encouraging that the second batch of episodes was planned while the first season was still in production and that one idea was pushed back to be included in the second crop, indicating that production is well underway.
“As you are aware, producing animation requires a lot of time. Mark Winderbaum, the producer at Marvel Studios, told Collider, “We were fortunate to get the go-ahead for a second season early enough to have a chance to release it next year. “We’ll wait and see. In this new world, we live in, I don’t want to predict the future, but we intend to make it an annual release.
A precise release date has not yet been determined. The summer months for Marvel will likely be filled by Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk, so we can probably anticipate that What If…? will take up a release slot in the latter part of 2022.
WHAT IF…..? SPOT THE CAST FOR SEASON 2
Bradley mentioned using characters from Phase 4, Shang-Chi, and the Eternals, so it’s safe to assume that at least some of the live-action cast will be lending their voices.
There is a lot of top Hollywood talent in these movies, including Simu Liu, Kumail Nanjiani, Angelina Jolie, and Florence Pugh, and so far, What If…? has shown that Marvel can get some of its big names to contribute a few lines.
The precise actors who will return to their on-screen roles are still unknown, but you can be sure that we’ll be keeping an eye on the known cosmos and beyond for more information as it becomes available.
WHAT IF…? SEASON 2 PLOT SUMMARY
The direction of What If…? season 2 is largely up to the anthology format. As with Marvel Zombies, anticipate a mix of MCU remixes like Captain Carter and adaptations of well-known Elseworlds tales.
There’s a good chance that some of the franchise’s newest heroes and antagonists will make an appearance this time around as well.
According to A.C. Bradley, the show’s head writer, “It’s going to be all-new stories, lots of fun, new heroes, and pulling more from Phase Four than we were able to this season.”
“Hopefully, Shang-Chi, the Black Widow, and the Eternals will make an appearance. We try to bounce around as
much as we can because one of the fun things about What If… is that we get to explore the entire infinite multiverse.
We now know some of the stories that will be told in season 2 thanks to the Marvel animation panel at San Diego Comic-Con. It appears that a story will involve Hela, Captain Carter meets the Winter Soldier, and Odin facing off against The Mandarin.
Season 2 trailer speculation: WHAT IF…
Marvel Studios typically holds onto these details until the final stretch, so the second season of What If…? doesn’t have a trailer. The second season of What If…? is currently in production and all of the episodes’ scripts have already been chosen.
We might get a sneak peek soon, but since Marvel Zombies will have its show, anything is possible.
