News for the fans of Peanuts as this Thanksgiving and Christmas will be way different for most of the Americans due to the global Pandemic. But PBS has announced that the traditional will remain constant as the Charlie Brown holiday specials will be airing on television.
This tradition was made when in October the Apple TV+ made the deal with the peanuts Worldwide and Lee Mendelson Film Production as the only and sole home of the Peanut’s holiday specials.
As said by PBS on Wednesday that don’t you think its too late for “It’s the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” as the two holiday specials “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will air aid free on PBS and the PBS Kids on 22nd November and December 13th at 7:30 p.m. local time and 6:30 p.m. CT.
The episodes will all be ad free and HD streaming on Apple TV+, The Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will stream on November 18 and the free streaming available from November 25 till November 27. The Charlie Brown Christmas will stream on December 4 with the free streaming from December 11 till December 13th as announced by PBS officially.
This year has been market different as it was the first time when “The Great Pumpkin” the holiday special show did not air on TV. As per the news that the Peanuts characters will be now seen on Apple TV+, as a result hundred and thousands of petitions were engrossed to bring back Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Woodstock and the entire gang back on its national stage.
“to our shock dismay, it was announced by Apple last night that had swiped the football from us and are claiming some specials for their Apple TV Platform leaving all the crazy fans who have grown up watching Charlie Brown and all the Peanuts Gang in dark are now unable to watch,” said by one of the petitioners.
