Horan’s Bodyguard Basil Keeps Damon Safe During Lockdown
Matt Damon has come back to the U.S. on 29th May, Thursday, with his family after being forced to spend lockdown in Ireland. Damon was originally filming in Ireland when the lockdown was put into effect. During his and his family’s time in Dalkey, South Dublin, Ireland, Niall Horan’s personal bodyguard, Basil Whelan, was protecting the Damons. In addition, Damon and his family were residing in Eddie Irvine’s €7,000-a-week villa. Also, the people and fans in Ireland were very supportive of Damon. However, their security guard was present jogging alongside Matt on the Dalkey promenade a number of times. He was also along with the star and his family on walks through nearby Dillon’s Park.
