Megan Fox is clearing the air about claims that Machine Gun Kelly cheated on her.
The Jennifer’s Body star went back to Instagram on Sunday (Feb. 19) to post a note saying that she and the pop-punk star did not cheat on each other to whom she got engaged in January 2022.
“This relationship hasn’t been messed with in any way by a third party. This includes, but is not limited to, real people, DMs, AI bots, and succubus demons,” Fox wrote. “While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now.”
Last week, Fox deleted all her Instagram photos with MGK and posted a video of an envelope burning with the words “Pray You Catch Me” from Beyoncé’s Lemonade album, which is about the pain of being cheated on. After making the post, the actress shut down her whole Instagram account.
Some fans thought Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, had been unfaithful to the actress with Sophie Lloyd, who plays guitar in his band. But Lloyd’s management team quickly ended those rumors by putting out a statement.
People reported on February 15 that a statement said, “Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been dragged into the media for no reason because of false accusations made on social media.” “It is not true that she has acted in a way that wasn’t professional or left her relationship.”
“Reporting anything else is disrespectful to her as a woman artist and bad journalism and social commentary,” the statement said in the end.
Fans who have been following MGK and Fox’s relationship knew that the breakup rumors came out of nowhere since the two had just been seen together at the Grammys in early February. The singer of “My Ex’s Best Friend,” who was nominated for best rock album, went home empty-handed that night. Fox posted a sweet message on Instagram praising him for taking the loss with “a grace and maturity that I haven’t seen from you before and I’m so proud of you.”
