Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Release Date?
When will the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen come out? The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen comes out on July 6, 2023.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2: Cast
Here are the leading Japanese and English voice actors who we think will be back for Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen:
• Yuji Itadori – Junya Enoki (Japanese); Adam McArthur (English)
• Megumi Fushiguro – Yuma Uchida (Japanese); Robbie Daymond (English)
• Nobara Kugisaki – Asami Seto (Japanese); Anne Yatco (English)
• Maki Zen’in – Mikako Komatsu (Japanese); Allegra Clark (English)
• Toge Inumaki – Kōki Uchiyama (Japanese); Xander Mobus (English)
• Panda – Tomokazu Seki (Japanese); Matthew David Rudd (English)
• Satoru Gojo – Yūichi Nakamura (Japanese); Kaiji Tang (English)
• Kiyotaka Ijichi – Mitsuo Iwata (Japanese); Chris Tergliafera (English)
• Shoko Ieiri – Aya Endō (Japanese); Ryan Bartley (English)
But what about the main character in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Yuta Okkotsu? The manga strongly hints that he’ll be in the main show soon, and a scene after the credits in the prequel movie pretty much confirms that.
When we asked English voice actor Kayleigh McKee what she thought about this possibility, she said the following:
“I would love it if that were to happen. I honestly don’t know where Yuta will go next, if anywhere, but if he comes back, I’d be very interested to see how he continues to grow and change.
Mckee added, “It’s so exciting to think about what I think he’ll be and become as he grows up and learns from these lessons and maybe goes through more hardships and how he’ll handle those differently.”
“It’s a great idea to be able to show more change in a character like this, who is one of my favourites that I’ve played.” and I really hope it does.”
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2: Plot
The Death Painting Arc, chapters 55–64 in the manga, was the last part of the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen. If the anime follows the source material in order, the next time we’ll see Gojo’s past will be in Season 2, which covers Chapters 65–79.
We wouldn’t be surprised if new episodes combined these flashbacks with the Shibuya Incident from chapters 79 to 136, the next big storyline in the manga. Without giving too much away, this means that in Season 2, there will be significant changes in the characters and the reveal of who the mole is at Jujutsu High.
A scene after the credits in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 hinted that Yuta would soon be there. This is great in theory, but it doesn’t look suitable for Yuji…
In February 2023, it was confirmed that Toji Fushiguro would show up in the first episodes of the next season.
The official website lists the character’s name as “Someone hired a mysterious man to kill Riko Amanai.” People call him “The Sorcerer Killer.”
Since Toji is Megumi’s son, his role will directly affect her. As a result, his backstory is likely to be explored. Hint: This is a sad story about how Toji wasn’t precisely the best parent in the world.
The character first appears in Chapter 66. He is part of the Time Vessel Association.
