The Murphy Family’s last dance, as the sitcom F is For Family, has been renewed for a final season. Michael Price (who also developed The Simpsons) and Bill Burr co-created the show.
The critically praised Netflix comedy series was renewed and terminated less than four months after the season four finale.
The 1970s and Bill Burr-inspired comedy got favorable reviews from fans and reviewers throughout its four-season run. Metacritic awarded the series a 75% rating for the first season, while Rotten Tomatoes gave both the first and second seasons an over 80% rating.
The series F is for Family had a positive response from the audience. IMDb has rated F is for Family an 8 out of 10.
Bill Burr, the show’s co-creator, praised everyone who contributed to the show’s success in his valedictory address.
“Thank you to all the fans who have stuck with the show, to Vince Vaughn and all the program’s writers, animators, musicians, and everyone else who contributed to the series’ success, particularly the captain of the ship Mike Price,” he added.
Season 5 of F is for Family is scheduled to air on Netflix in November 2021, and we’re excited to see how this dark comedy series concludes. There are plenty of new Netflix films and series to watch in November, but F is for Family season 5 should be at the top of your list.
Will F is For Family gets a sixth season?
Netflix renewed the sitcom for a fifth and final season in October 2020. Burr replied to the news by stating, “I want to express my gratitude to all of the people that tuned in.” As a result, F is For Family Season 6 will not be renewed.

What Happened in Season 5 of F For Family?
The series is set in the 1970s, political liberation, detached parenting, and an indoor smoking prohibition. The series chronicles the lives of a young Irish American family in Rustvale, Pennsylvania, and their struggles to raise their children during this era.
