Enola Holmes 2 Release Date Confirmed, Trailer And Everything We Know In 2022

Here’s everything we know about the upcoming Netflix sequel Enola Holmes 2, including the movie’s release date, trailer, plot, cast, and any other information we can find.

The first movie came out on Netflix in September 2020. It was an instant hit, and for the first five days, it was the most-watched movie on Netflix.

In the movie, the title character was played by Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown. She was the younger sister of Sherlock Holmes, who was played by Henry Cavill.

Enola went to London to look for her missing mother. While there, she found out about a bigger plot involving the House of Lords.

Enola Holmes 2: Release Date Details

On August 18, 2022, Netflix released the first pictures of the upcoming movie and announced when it would be out. Season 2 of Enola Holmes will be on Netflix on November 4, 2022. That’s a Friday, so it’s a great time for a movie night with the whole family.

Enola Holmes 2: Cast Details

Millie Bobby Brown, who plays the title character, and Henry Cavill, who plays Sherlock Holmes, are back for this follow-up movie. If Enola Holmes herself didn’t show up, it wouldn’t be much of a sequel.

Millie Bobby Brown is back for the sequel, which doesn’t come as a surprise since she told EW last year that she “fell in love” with the character.

“I was like, ‘Oh, sure, I’ll just do one movie, like, obviously…'” Then, when I started playing Enola on set, I fell in love with her, and she became a part of my heart.

She said, “In the end, this is my favorite thing I’ve ever done in my life.” “It would be a dream to do it all over again.” In the first movie, Louis Partridge played Tewkesbury, who Enola fell in love with. He will be back in the second movie as well.

In a recent comment on Millie Bobby Brown’s Instagram post announcing Enola Holmes 2, Partridge hinted that he would be in the second movie. “The sequel is on the way! #EnolaHolmes2,” she wrote in the caption of a behind-the-scenes photo from the first movie. Partridge left a comment with a winking emoji that didn’t say much.

It is still not clear how many scenes he will be in. But since the first movie set up a possible relationship between Enola and Tewkesbury, we wouldn’t be surprised if he at least made a cameo.

We don’t know for sure who else from the first movie will be back for Enola Holmes 2, but we hope that Sam Claflin and Helena Bonham Carter will be back to play Enola’s strict older brother Mycroft and her free-spirited, suffragette mother Eudoria.

It would make sense for Adeel Akhtar to return as Lestrade and Susie Wokoma to return as Edith. However, it may not be necessary for Hattie Morahan (Lady Tewkesbury), David Bamber (Sir Whimbrel Tewkesbury), Frances de la Tour (The Dowager), or Fiona Shaw (Miss Harrison) to return, especially since Enola is going to move on to another mystery.

Plot Of Enola Holmes 2

Netflix hasn’t said what Enola will be doing in Enola Holmes 2, but we can get a pretty good idea from Nancy Springer’s series of books, on which the movies are based.

When we last saw Enola, she had said goodbye to Tewkesbury and finally found her mother, but Eudoria had already left to continue fighting for women’s rights. Now that Enola’s other brother Sherlock is taking care of her, she is free to wander around London as an amateur detective. The ending of the movie set things up for Enola to go on another adventure in the next movie.

If Enola Holmes 2 is like Springer’s second book in the series, The Case of the Left-Handed Lady, Enola will probably find a hidden collection of charcoal drawings that belong to Lady Cecily, a girl who has recently vanished without a trace.

Enola will go on a journey to find and save this missing girl without giving away her secret identity or getting caught by her brother Sherlock.
