Jana Kramer‘s love life is complicated, as told in “The Story.” The actress from “One Tree Hill” has been honest about her relationship problems, from her three troubled marriages to her struggles with being single in her late 30s.
Kramer filed for divorce from her husband, Mike Caussin, in 2021 after they had been married for six years. In a recent episode of “Red Table Talk,” the 38-year-old country singer said the NFL player had cheated on her with “more” than 13 other women.
Kramer’s journey to find love has been full of ups and downs, but the “I Got a Boy” singer hasn’t given up on a fairytale romance.
Scroll down to see all of Kramer’s leading men from the past and the present:
Michael Gambino
The singer married Michael Gambino for the first time in 2004 in Las Vegas, but things quickly went downhill. Kramer left Gambino less than a year after they got married because he was found guilty of trying to kill her after strangling her to sleep.
Since then, she has talked about how she was mistreated by Gambino during their short marriage and said that she often feared for her life.
In October 2022, Kramer wrote an emotional post on Instagram in which she said she would be choked and hit “because I was bad.” This made her think that she “deserved the abuse.”
Ace Amerson
After she broke up with Gambino, it was said that Kramer was seeing reality TV star, Ace Amerson.
Even though they never confirmed that they were dating, they have stayed friends over the years, and Amerson sometimes shows up on Kramer’s social media.
Johnathon Schaech
In 2008, while filming “Prom Night,” the actress met her second husband, Johnathon Schaech.
Before getting married in 2010, the couple dated on and off for three years. Twelve days after the wedding, Kramer filed for divorce.
Even though their marriage ended quickly, the actress told Page Six that she didn’t hold any bad feelings toward Schaech.
“I’m not the kind of person who goes around saying bad things. I don’t want anything bad to happen to [Johnathon].” She told us then, “If I say things, it won’t look good on me either.”
In June 2011, they officially split up.
Brantley Gilbert
Kramer started dating fellow country star Brantley Gilbert after they met at the CMT Music Awards in 2012. After dating for less than a year, Gilbert got down on one knee and asked the woman to marry him.
But their engagement didn’t last long, and after a few months, they decided to go their separate ways.
Nearly seven years after they broke up, Kramer said she just wasn’t ready for such a serious commitment at the time.
“When I was with that person, I wasn’t the best version of myself. I was just not. She said this on her podcast, “Whine Down With Jana Kramer.” “I always feel a little bit bad that I didn’t handle things better.”
Scott Eastwood
After meeting through mutual friends, the “Why Ya Wanna” singer was said to be dating Scott Eastwood a few months after she broke up with her boyfriend.
But it didn’t last long, and the two people went their separate ways.
Mike Caussin
Mike Caussin, who used to play for the NFL, was Kramer’s longest and messiest boyfriend.
When they met in 2014, the actress fell in love with him right away.
In a 2015 interview, she said, “When he got on my tour bus, I thought, ‘That’s the man I’m going to marry.'”
But the happiness didn’t last long. After only a few months together, Kramer discovered that the athlete was cheating on her. Soon after, they got back together and got married in 2015.
After a few years and two kids, the couple’s relationship went through another rough patch when the footballer was caught cheating for the second time and started getting help for his sex addiction.
In an interview with his then-wife in 2019, Caussin said, “I realized a lot of things over the course of my life that sex and sexual acting out were my addictive behaviors. That’s where I went to hide my feelings, to run away from reality, and that was my drug.”
But after six years of marriage, Kramer decided that it would be best for the two of them to split up. In April 2021, she filed for divorce.
She wrote, “It’s time” on Instagram. “Those words are now true as I try to make sense of a situation I never wanted to think could happen again. I’ve fought all of you. I’ve loved hard. I’ve forgiven. I’ve put in the effort. I’ve given everything I have, and now I have nothing left to give.”
Kramer has moved on since the breakup, but she wishes things had turned out differently for Jolie and Jace’s sake.
“I know we’re both better off than we used to be, but I’m sad that my kids won’t wake up at my house on Christmas Day this year. The singer told Jada Pinkett Smith, “That one is going to hurt.”
“When that happens, I’m like, ‘That’s not fair.’ He took away what I had wanted for my family and what I had hoped for. “That’s not right!”
Graham Bunn
The actress from “Holiday Fix Up” said she was dating “Bachelorette” alum Graham Bunn seven weeks after her marriage ended.
The singer and the former reality star had known each other for seven years before they decided to date.
When asked about their complicated relationship at the time, Kramer told E!, “Okay, sure, we’re tangled up.” “We’re doing the line dance with our friends. We’re dancing the line dance, and I’m happy about it.”
After going in and out of the friend zone for a few months, the two people decided to keep their friendship platonic.
Jay Cutler
Kramer was later linked to former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler after his own breakup with Kristen Cavallari in September 2021. But the podcast’s host made it clear that Cutler was “never” her boyfriend.
“Just because I went on a date with someone doesn’t mean we’re exclusive, and he’s my boyfriend,” she said on her “Whine Down” podcast in December of 2021.
“Obviously, all of Jay’s stuff got out because we went out and he was a very public person,” she said. “But I never spoke about it because I didn’t know what it was.”
Ian Schinelli
The “90210” star’s most recent boyfriend was fitness instructor Ian Schinelli. In January 2022, Kramer told fans that they were dating. She said she was learning to “listen to her heart.”
She wrote on Instagram, “Every day I continue to heal, and I know I still have a lot of work to do, but damn, it feels great to find happiness along the way.” “To find someone who doesn’t see your scars as a problem or a challenge, but instead helps you hold them and is there to support you along the way with love, strength, and empathy.”
At the beginning of their relationship, Kramer was totally in love with the Navy SEAL. She talked about how perfect he seemed on her podcast.
“When I met him for the first time, I thought, ‘OK, he’s pretty. He looks good enough to die for. He’s a Navy SEAL, for god’s sake. He’s very nice. He’s good. He is nice. He has a little girl. She said, “He’s a dad, so there must be something wrong with him.”
Still, it seems like Kramer found Schinelli’s flaw because they broke up three months later.
