The first season of HBO Max’s The Flight Attendant will conclude up in December 2020. Cassie Bowden (Kaley Cuoco) and Alex Sokolov (Alex Sokolov), the Bangkok one-night stand she had with Rosie Perez (Michelle Gomez) in Bangkok, are finally solved in the season finale, despite the fact that Rosie’s unwitting North Korean spy, Megan (Michelle Gomez), has fled to Italy (Michiel Huisman). Is there any more to come, though? Those are the facts as of this writing.
Is There A Second Season Of The Flight Attendant In The Works?
Yes! As a result of HBO Max’s “Big Little Lies” move, the Golden Globe-nominated series will return for another season, even though it was originally planned to be just one season. When Andy Cohen asked Cuoco to return for the second season of Watch What Happens Live after she said she wanted to, she said yes. The show became a smash hit for HBO Max, the fledgling streaming service in need of some original hits to pair with its massive library of Warner Bros-owned films and shows.

“We are delighted that the show has resonated so strongly with audiences and critics,” said HBO Max chief content officer Casey Bloys in a press release announcing the renewal. “We congratulate Kaley, Steve, Greg, and Sarah, along with the rest of the incredibly talented cast, executive producers, and our partners at Warner Bros. Television on all the success of the first season. I look forward to seeing where Cassie will go next.”
The Flight Attendant Season 2 Plotline
Showrunner Steve Yockey told us that he didn’t want to delve into speculation until the show was formally renewed, but he did suggest that he imagines Season 2 will entail “a fresh experience for Cassie, but we would see old pals.”
This is yet uncertain. It appears that Cassie (Griffin Matthews), her flight attendant companion and fellow covert spy, has been recruited by the CIA in the last seconds of the episode. Imagining Cassie, who is striving to stay sober, eavesdropping on others is a great idea. Fun! According to Deadline, season 2 will see Cassie in LA until her CIA job requires her to travel abroad.
Yockey has also hinted that the murder plan involving Alex and the enigmatic Lionfish organization would not be continued in its current form. Having said that, Cassie’s world might become even more out of hand if any of the Season 1 cast members return. At least they didn’t get Buckley/Felix (Colin Woodell), the psychotic assassin they were supposed to murder, and she and Shane are now going about with a bunch of cash.

The Flight Attendant Season 2 Cast
In addition to serving as the show’s star, Kaley Cuoco serves as an executive producer. With Rosie Perez’s Megan’s storyline ending with a lot of questions unanswered, Yockey said in our interview that it would be negligent of him not to bring her back for a possible Season 2. What is Megan’s next destination?
After taking secrets from her husband’s computer and handing them over to North Korean agents, how will she get out of this situation? We must be informed.
Season 1’s remaining cast members include Matthews’ Shane and Zosia Mamet’s Annie, but it wouldn’t be the same programme if they weren’t there. Huisman will not reprise his role as Alex in the show, but Cassie’s “mind palace” will be returning.
The Flight Attendant Season 2 Release Date
At a WarnerMedia investor day call in March 2021, WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar expressed the hope that it will happen in the spring of 2022. After all, in September of 2021, Cuoco revealed on Instagram that the show was filming in Berlin, which makes it sound plausible. Keeping my fingers crossed for new episodes!
