Viewers of “The Challenge” have been mesmerized by the show’s blend of physical tasks and interpersonal drama since the show’s first season in 1981. The first episode of “The Challenge” aired in 1998.
According to GQ, the MTV program has included participants from “The Challenge,” “Big Brother,” “Survivor,” and “Amazing Race” throughout its 37 seasons.
Seasonal themes, such as “Rivals” or “Battle of the Exes,” are used by E! Online to help viewers distinguish one season from the next.
Each new series, for example, is set in Iceland. According to GQ, this show is popular due to its exotic locations, physically challenging challenges (contestants once delved under Icelandic ice seeking puzzle components with just a limited supply of oxygen), and entertaining cast members.
According to TJ Lavin, the host of “The Challenge,” pushing yourself to the maximum is a need.
“This was our goal all along. It’s OK to have a show that’s packed of shows, on the other hand, are where it’s at right now.” The 38th season of “The Challenge” is now available to learn about.
The Challenge Season 38 Release Date
We wouldn’t be surprised if MTV announced its “The Challenge” renewal sooner rather than later, given the show’s lengthy history and continuous popularity.
As a result, there is no way to know when or even whether the premiere will take place until the official announcement is made.
It is possible to make some reasonable assumptions as to when the 38th season will premiere based on previous seasons’ release dates.
Season 36 of “The Challenge,” titled “Double Agents,” came to an end on April 21, 2021. According to Entertainment Weekly, MTV confirmed season 37’s roster and premiere date in July, and the season began broadcasting in August.
Expect more information soon, and it should premiere sometime in the spring or early summer of 2022 if there are no severe delays for Season 38 based on Season 37’s production schedule.
A later release date is still possible since Reddit reports predict that manufacturing will not begin until March.

Taking time off from the show was prompted by a request from Cory Wharton’s young daughter, as he revealed in an Instagram post in November. According to what she had to say, “I hope you don’t go back on the challenge,” and “I just remember Ryder blowing on it.”
In the post, Wharton said. “My decision to go away from the program was made at that point. A warning indication is when my 4-year-old sits there and tells me, daddy, I don’t want you to leave, but my one-year-old couldn’t even identify me when I got home from double agents.”
In an Instagram post, former cast member Tula “Big T” Fazakerley claimed she would not be returning to “The Challenge” for some time because she wanted to explore other alternatives, as reported by Heavy.
