The third season of Murders in the Building has been announced, but its premiere date has not yet been set.
Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building delivered a new corpse to the doorsteps of the show’s protagonists just when they believed they were safe. But who wants peace and quiet when they have a popular podcast to keep up in New York?
Mabel, Chris, and Oliver are among the thousands of Broadway spectators that watch as Paul freaking Rudd (well… Ben Glenroy in this universe) collapses and dies onstage in the season two finale.
In spite of this, it is common knowledge that some sort of foul play is afoot. Who the hell is doing this, and why? Some nosy podcast listeners may be the only ones who can crack this case. Is there going to be a season three, and if so, when can we look forward to it?

Only Murders In The Building Season 3 Released Date Speculation
Hulu has not yet revealed when season 3 of Only Murders in the Building will be available to stream.
In July, only a few weeks after season 2 premiered, the streaming service renewed the show for a season 3.
My neighbors have a special message for you all: #OnlyMurdersInTheBuilding will return for Season 3! Now I just have to worry about who's next… I hope it's not me! pic.twitter.com/J8AeH6CpNO

On the basis of the release dates of the first two seasons, we can speculate as to when we can expect to see Only Murders in the Building, season 3. The first season debuted on August 31, 2021, and lasted until October 19, 2021. Season 2 began on June 28, 2022, and concluded on August 23, 2022.
Considering the show’s history, we can probably expect the premiere of Season 3 to take place around June 2023.
Only Murders In The Building Season 3 Cast
Steve Martin as Charles, Martin Short as Oliver, and Selena Gomez as Mabel are essential to the success of Only Murders.
Having seen what happened to Ben Glenroy firsthand and having a podcast to help them with their investigation, they will undoubtedly return.
Then there’s Paul Rudd, who plays Ben, the new resident murder victim who will very certainly make an appearance as his death is recounted through flashbacks.
It’s also likely that Tina Fey will reprise her role as Cinda Canning, because why else would she investigate a celebrity’s death? She might even join forces with the veterans.
But apart from that, we have no idea what’s going on as members of the Arconia come and go and we distance ourselves from the structure and its residents.
Only Murders In The Building: Season 2 Ending Explained
WARNING: This paragraph contains spoilers! Poppy White (Adina Verson), Cinda Canning’s unappreciated assistant, was identified by the audience as the killer of Bunny (Jayne Houdyshell) (Tina Fey).
After season 2 episode 9 aired, viewers learned that Poppy’s real identity was Becky Butler, the focus of Cinda’s podcast All is Not OK in Oklahoma. Becky faked her own death to escape her miserable existence, and after she found Cinda, she offered her the concept for the podcast in exchange for employment.
After the end, we learn that Cinda wanted a high-profile case to analyze on her podcast, and that Poppy decided to help her out by committing the murder of Bunny herself. Her plan was to frame Charles for the murder of Bunny by hiding the knife she used in his flat and escaping through the building’s underground tunnels in the Arconia.
The events in the season 2 finale advanced the plot by an entire year, setting up the third season.
Fans got a peek of Paul Rudd as actor Ben Glenroy, a lead in Martin’s character’s new Broadway production, in the episode’s last minutes. After learning about Ben’s death, we remember that Steve’s character, Charles, is the show’s second lead and that he and the show’s other star, Michael, do not get along in real life.
