When Nikki Webster first appeared on ‘My 600-Lb Life’, she weighed 650 pounds and battled day to day with simple tasks like showering. After undergoing surgery, her life has taken a turn for the better.
A former patient of Dr. Younan Nowzaradan recently shares an update on her current weight following a recent marriage
Hi friends! I’m sure many of you watched our little friend the Roni begin on July 12. She referred to a coronavirus outbreak, and my life has been completely turned upside down. I’m still coping with and trying to work through all the changes that this epidemic has brought about.
In addition to social distancing, Marc and I have declined jobs, friends, dinners with friends, vacations, and contact with other family members in order to avoid infection. Please be sure to wear a mask and help us! I also ask that you keep your family safe while helping us since the contamination has spread throughout our city.
After exchanging their vows in the stunning LDS Temple in Saint Louis, Nikki and Marc said they’re still happily going strong. The Arkansas resident gushed about the breathtaking ceremony.
Nikki and I took a 1-day cross-country trip to Memphis, Tennessee in October 2019. We went see Dear Evan Hansen YA LL. FULL-ON UGLY CRYING! For those of you who don’t know, my husband Marc surprised me at our wedding reception with one of our dear friends, Oriana. The group sang “Only Us” which is very near and dear to our hearts, she shared.
Nikki previously posted a message expressing gratitude to all those who have stuck by her side during difficult times, including Marc. I m thankful for those people that support and love me unconditionally. Those who have been patient with me as I learn what life is all about.
Nikki surprised fans when she announced the guy she went on a date within her latest Where Are They Now special, Marc had asked her to marry him.
The couple met and got engaged in less than a year’s time. They were living together shortly after they said “I do”. [They] are ridiculously blissful about married life and love each other blindly.
Prior to renewing her life in 2016, Nikki weighed 600 lb and struggled due to being morbidly obese. It’s been difficult, but it’s changed my life for the better in a major way.
Before her weight-loss journey, Nikki confessed to feeling ashamed of the way she looked and was even forbidden from seeing her sister s children in case they were distressed by the sight. She told TODAY at the time, My weight is debilitating My body is so painful. I hate it, but this is all my fault. No matter how strong the temptation gets, food has to be more powerful than that.
Nikki found a healthy diet and exercise routine that worked for her. She tries to walk at least 2-3 miles daily or more if possible. I’ll also try to do weight training and other exercises. I go to the gym every now and then for these sorts of things.

“It’s not always easy to stick to, though,” she said. “Consistency is the most important part of all this and if you don’t have it then it’s really difficult to be successful.” It takes a lot of balance and consistency to keep all parts of my life in check. My demanding work, my social life when I’m off, and time with family is the most difficult balanced aspects.
It is clear that Nikki’s life has taken a turn for the better since it was filmed. We are so pleased to be able to witness you at this great time in your life, Nikki!
