Magi is a Japanese fantasy animated television series based on the same-named manga series. The manga series, written and drawn by Shinobu Ohtaka, began publication on July 3, 2009, and concluded on October 11, 2017.
After a few years of publication, the manga series was adapted into an anime television series, with Season 1 premiering on October 7, 2012. It was a huge success and was quickly renewed for a second season.
On October 6, 2013, the show’s second season, dubbed Magi: The Kingdom of Magic, was launched a year later. Since then, fans of both the program and the source material have awaited word of a third season. Here’s what we know about Season 3’s chances.
Magi Season 3 Release Date
The third season of “Magi” is scheduled to premiere in late 2022 or early 2023; it might air sooner. Season 3 might debut as soon as October.
The release may have been delayed due to the COVID-19 epidemic, and it is too early to determine if real-world events may cause more delays.

At the very least, knowing that “Magi” will return to screens shortly is something to look forward to — all the more so given that many anime fans on Reddit believed the franchise’s on-screen adventures ended with the conclusion of “Magi: Adventure of Sinbad.”
Another reason for the delay might be the production’s audacious character.
Season 3 of “Magi” has a larger budget, implying that the producers have taken their time to ensure the series delivers on scope and scale.
Magi Plot
Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic is partially inspired by stories from the Arabian Nights collection of Middle-Eastern traditional tales. Magi takes place 15 years after the events of Magi: The Adventure of Sinbad.
The drama takes place in a mythical realm where enigmatic structures are known as “dungeons” began to appear 15 years ago. When these dungeons first appeared, hundreds of adventurers and armies attempted to conquer them to get their wealth and enormous abilities.
However, despite several attempts, everyone failed, and any human who entered these dungeons would go unnoticed or unnoticed.
With this background, a little kid named Sinbad was the first to conquer some of these dungeons 15 years ago. This presentation reveals that only magi — famous magicians who are kingmakers – can enter, survive, and conquer these dungeons.

While the prequel followed Sinbad and his exploits when these dungeons remained unconquered, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic takes 15 years after Sinbad’s conquests and follows Aladdin, a young mage.
Imprisoned in a chamber for many years, Aladdin eventually manages to escape. Aladdin is a youthful and gentle magician whose only ambition is to travel the world. He is supported by a djinn named Ugo, whom he can summon with his flute in his journey to do so.
Aladdin quickly becomes friends with a trader named Alibaba Saluja as he starts exploring the globe. Aladdin’s first encounter with Alibaba is not pleasant, as he ends up smashing an Alibaba-owned cart of merchandise.
Aladdin advises that they conquer a nearby dungeon since they are in debt and anxious to repay the merchant. Aladdin is unaware, however, that his victory in the first dungeon would trigger a chain of events that will threaten the world’s survival.
Aladdin has several new pals during the program and is forced to combat destructive powers in the realm of Sindria. Aladdin and his comrades depart Sindria after conquering the villainous Al-Thamein.
While his pals go on their adventures, Aladdin journeys to a realm known as Magnostadt — a mystical land controlled by wizards.
As Aladdin travels to this new region to develop his magic and examine strange occurrences, a massive conflict looms on the horizon, threatening the world’s very existence.
