Julia Roberts and George Clooney Re-Team in ‘Ticket To Paradise’ Trailer
In this movie, Julia Roberts makes a glorious return to the romantic comedy genre. The renowned actress and George Clooney, who co-starred in “Ocean’s Eleven,” are seen working together in the first “Ticket to Paradise” trailer.
In the movie “Ticket to Paradise,” starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts, Ol Parker tells the tale of two long-divorced parents who impulsively wed. In an effort to prevent their daughter Lily (Kaitlyn Dever) from making the same error they did, the parents decide to travel to Indonesia after Lily graduates from high school and visits Bali, where she falls in love with a Balinese man. Despite their efforts to work together for the benefit of their daughter, the tension in the two characters’ relationship is highlighted in the trailer.
In the trailer, George Clooney bemoans the “worst” 19 years of his life, to which Julia Roberts retorts, “We were only married for five.”
He adds, “I’m including the recovery.” I am accounting for recovery.
Parker was the film’s director, and Parker co-wrote the screenplay with Daniel Pipski. Along with Julia Roberts, George Clooney, and Danny Dever, the movie also stars Billie Lourd (“Booksmart”) and Lucas Bravo (“Emily in Paris”). Roberts, Clooney, Deborah Balderstone, Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Marisa Yeres Gill, Lisa Roberts Gillan, Sarah Harvey, and Grant Heslov are all involved in the film’s production. As co-producers, Working Title Films, Smokehouse Pictures, and Red Om Films are also a part of the movie’s production.
