In the movie “Ticket to Paradise,” starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts, Ol Parker tells the tale of two long-divorced parents who impulsively wed. In an effort to prevent their daughter Lily (Kaitlyn Dever) from making the same error they did, the parents decide to travel to Indonesia after Lily graduates from high school and visits Bali, where she falls in love with a Balinese man. Despite their efforts to work together for the benefit of their daughter, the tension in the two characters’ relationship is highlighted in the trailer.

Parker was the film’s director, and Parker co-wrote the screenplay with Daniel Pipski. Along with Julia Roberts, George Clooney, and Danny Dever, the movie also stars Billie Lourd (“Booksmart”) and Lucas Bravo (“Emily in Paris”).
