Chucky Season 2 Confirmed: Release Date, Cast, Trailer And Much More

Are you a die-hard horror fan? If you are, you are probably familiar with the phrase, ‘I always come back!’ If you get the reference, buckle up because Chucky always returns, and it will this time as well. With 4.4 million viewers for season one of Chucky in Fall 2021, it would be surprising if it was not renewed for a second season. We don’t have time to wonder, though, because Chucky is back!

Chucky is an American horror television series created by Don Mancini. It’s based on the film series Child’s Play. The new film picks up where Cult of Chucky left off, with Brad Dourif as Chucky, Zachary Arthur, Teo Briones, Bjorvin Arnarson, and Alyvia Alyn Lind.

The first season of Chucky surprised viewers. We had our doubts, as much as we adored this possessed doll. At least, that’s what I thought. And, while the series debuted just in time for Halloween, horror fans will enjoy the fun thrills at any time! Even as the holidays approach, we’re all about Chucky! Season 1, unfortunately, ended after only 8 episodes. However, it is not all bad news.

Chucky Season 2 Release Date

Season 1’s final episode aired on November 30, 2021, and was quickly followed by the official announcement of Season 2. The filming began in Toronto in April 2022 and is scheduled to wrap in August 2022. Chucky Season 2 will premiere on October 5, 2022, according to EW.com.

Chucky Season 2 Cast?

You’ll be surprised at who’s there this season. This season features a mix of old and new characters. Along with some of the new faces, you’ll see some familiar faces, such as:

After Season 1, it’s unclear whether Teo Briones will return, especially since the character he reprised is no longer alive. Aside from that, there are some new faces, such as Meg Tilly, Jennifer Tilly’s real-life sister. However, it is unknown which character Meg Tilly will play. Another actor, Fiona Dourif, the real-life daughter of Brad Dourif, will also appear in Chucky Season 2.

Alyvia Alyn Lind and Barbara Alyn Woods, mother, and daughter will return as Mayor Michelle Cross, along with Joe Pantoliano, Gina Gershon, Tony Nappo, Sutton Stracke, and Lara Jean Chorostecki.

Chucky Season 2 Plot?

Season 2 will most likely pick up where its predecessor left off. Season 1 focused on Jake’s coming out, a string of disturbing murders, and Chucky’s backstory, which left a slew of unanswered questions that can only be answered in season 2. Season 1 also featured a spooky holiday episode in which Chucky was discovered wearing a Hello Kitty mask and trick-or-treating. Will there be another holiday episode this time?

Chucky Season 2 will almost certainly include the scene in which Andy is trapped in a doll-filled truck and held at gunpoint by a possessed Tiffany doll. Not only that, but the upcoming season will also reveal Jake and Devon’s relationship, as well as the fallout from Nica’s captivity.

Where to watch Chucky Season 2?

Season 1 premiered in the fall of 2022 on Syfy and USA Network. Peacock is also an option. However, Child’s Play has been removed from the company’s horror list. Season 2 of Chucky will premiere on Syfy and USA Network in October 2022.

Not only that but there are rumors that Chucky will return for Season 3 in 2023 because Chucky always returns!
