American filmmakers Codie Elaine Oliver and Tommy Oliver made the docuseries Black Love. In it, couples talk about the joys, struggles, and realities of love, marriage, and romance in the black community. It started on the Oprah Winfrey Network on August 29, 2017, and was the most-watched unscripted series premiere in the history of the network.
On May 14, 2021, the fifth season began. On July 23, 2022, the sixth and last season will start.
