What Is the Story of America’s Best Baker?
Beginning Monday, May 3rd at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the new season of Best Baker in America will have 10 world-class bakers competing. Carla Hall of Food Network hosts the show, putting the bakers through eight episodes of activities designed to test their baking abilities and technical aptitude to compete for $25,000 and the coveted title.

Each episode features two rounds in which the bakers must create elegant and delectable baked goods from various states across the country – a Master Challenge that assesses their mastery of fundamental baking techniques and their ability to work with specific flavors and ingredients, and a Master Challenge that assesses their ability to work with specific flavors and ingredients.
The Master Challenge’s least successful bakers are forced to participate in a Bake-Off round to avoid elimination.
Gesine Prado and Jason Smith determine whether bakers possess the creativity and originality necessary to advance in the competition.
