After the first episode of the third and final season of the anime show Attack on Titan came out, fans were on the edge of their seats. The hour-long special episode gave viewers a sneak peek at what will happen in the epic finale.
But fans hoping for a new episode next week will be disappointed to learn that Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 will not have a new episode next week. This is because the show’s producers have decided to split the last season into two more parts. The first part will only have one episode, which is an hour long.
Attack On Titan Final Season Part 3 Episode 2: Released Date
Attack on Titan Season 4, Part 3’s first episode, just came out, but fans will have to wait until the fall for the second one. Attack on Titan’s official Twitter page confirmed that the last season’s second episode wouldn’t come immediately.
The exact release date has yet to be set, but the creators will likely tell us in the coming months. Since the studio only has to work on one episode for the next six to seven months, the second episode will likely come out in September. And since the rest of the attacks have been in the works for a long time, Mappa would be fine putting them out in the early fall.
But, just like the first episode of AOT Final Season Part 3, the second episode is likely to be an hour long, the same as watching three standard 20-minute episodes.
The creators also put out a new promotional video to mark the announcement. The video doesn’t say much about Episode 89, but it does confirm that it will come out in the fall of 2023.

A new key visual was also shown. It shows Eren in his Founding Titan form, trying to catch his friends as they run away. These friends include Mikasa, Armin, Hange, Levi, Zeke, Jean, and Conny. The main image also thanks viewers for watching the first episode of Season 4, Part 3, which is the key visual.

What Were Fans’ Reactions To The News?
Clearly, it was important news for Aot fans, and fans didn’t miss a chance to say how they felt. Most of the comments were, of course, about how sad people were that they had to wait again to see the last episode of the series.

It was a viral episode, and many fans didn’t forget to thank Mappa and the rest of the Attack on Titan team for doing a good job. Many people were upset that Mappa delayed the episode, but others were happy to wait while the creators made the last episode.

All of that said, Attack on Titan is considered a masterpiece by the anime community, and no matter how much the creators are criticized for their choices, the show has a large and loyal fan base that will continue to defend it.
