On Sunday nights, there is always something going down on TLC‘s hit reality TV shows.
The show was created to give viewers a peek into the lives of Americans who want to marry foreigners but are unable to get married within 90 days.
The couple in question brings their foreigner with a K-1 visa, or fiance visa, over from another country and marries them as soon as they arrive. We follow them for the four TLC shows a couple’s 90-day countdown to their wedding.
The first spinoff, 90 Day Fianc: Happily Ever After? features fan favorites who have already tied the knot and document their struggles as they learn to adjust. After three months of being, for the most part, together and happy with their partner, many couples fall into a rut.
TLC has a new spinoff that follows American citizens who are in a long-distance relationship with people outside the country. After meeting online, most of the couples have not met in person yet. These couples usually either meet each other for a date in their home country or make time to meet during a vacation when they are closest to one another geographically.
Other couples, after previously meeting, often fall in love so much that they decide to get engaged and begin the K- A couple who receives their K-1 visa may return to the franchise after 90 Day Fianc proper.TLC will now be airing ’90 Day Fiancé: What Now?’ before it airs on tv.
Important to note that TLC wasn’t always called “TLC.” All previous couples on other spinoffs of the franchise have been together at some point.
There are couples who have not been asked back to join the other spinoffs, and it is most likely because they are no longer together or don’t have a compelling story to tell. They may be asked by the Reality Television show “90 Day Fianc – Pillow Talk.” The show, which premiered in April 2019, allows viewers to see their favorite stars react to the current season of the franchise and storylines.
Following the successful reception of all previous spin-offs, TLC premiered 90 Day Fianc: The Other Way in May 2019. This time around, it is the American who is relocating to a foreign country in order to be with their loved one.
Chantel and Pedro Jimeno, a fan-favorite pair from 90 Day Fiancé season 4, were given the opportunity to share their story of how they met with the world. In 2020, a spinoff series featuring 90 Day Fianc: Before the 90 Days stars Darcey and Stacey Silva entitled Darcey & Stacey premiered.
TLC also produced two limited series in 2020. “90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined” followed fan favorites as they shared updates on their lives during the coronavirus pandemic.

Despite all the relationship drama on the show, it’s clear that most of them are still together. Out of the couples who have appeared, only a handful are divorced or broken up.
