Getting out there again? After her breakup with Zac Clark, Bachelorette star Tayshia Adams is “absolutely” not in a hurry to start dating again.
“My dating life is pretty nonexistent right now,” she told Us Weekly on Sunday, March 27. “I really have no desire [to date]. … “Perhaps [in] a year’s time.”
“I feel like my main focus right now is on myself, my career, my mental health, my happiness, my family, my friends, and really just becoming my own person, and I’m really happy about that,” Tayshia said.
In November 2021, Life & Style confirmed what many people had thought for a while: that the couple had broken up. “Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark are no longer a couple,” a rep said just days after Life & Style reported that the two were “taking a break.”
A source told Life & Style at the time that they were keeping quiet about it. “They loved each other and still do, but they are going their separate ways. They had a really good run.”
On November 19, someone close to the couple said that they were “taking some time apart to figure things out” and that “it doesn’t look good.”
During the last episode of her season as Bachelorette, Tayshia praised her and Zac’s “wild love” after he asked her to marry him on one knee.
“At one point in my life, I thought I would never get married because I had been through so much pain and heartbreak, and I felt like I had hit rock bottom. She told him at the time, “I know I told you I love you, but it’s more than that.” “I’ve tried to find so many reasons not to believe, but you’ve made me realize that there doesn’t need to be anything wrong and that I deserve to be loved by a man who won’t run away. My heart has really been woken up by you, and yes, it is real. I also feel it.”
Zac told the influencer, “I’m going to choose you forever,” and gave her a beautiful Neil Lane engagement ring.
“I can’t imagine a day or a second without you,” he told her at the time. “If you don’t mind, I’m going to pick you up right now. I’ll choose you in the morning tomorrow. I’ll pick you next week and again next year.”
