Solo Leveling is a hit manhwa based on a novel. It attracted a worldwide readership that looked forward to its weekly release, making it the most well-known manhwa, or Korean comic, of its era during its run. The primary antagonist of the series is a hunter named Sung Jinwoo, who is the focus of the foundation tale.
A-1 Studios decided to animate the series as a result of the manhwa’s popularity. The same studio that created Sword Art Online, Black Butler II, and even Kaguya-sama Love is War. Their dedication to Solo Leveling comes as a bit of a surprise because they mainly play Japanese games.

Solo Leveling Anime Plot
As it is based on a manhwa and novel that has already ended, the plot is a little predestined. Therefore, read the manhwa or novel if you’re interested in learning the story. The novel has 270 chapters, whereas the manhwa has 179.
For those who prefer not to read extensive spoilers, the plot revolves around a powerful main character in a fantastical scenario. Real-world video game tropes used in Korean manhwa are somewhat reminiscent of the Isekai Japanese anime genre’s advancement structure.
But their original environment is one where video game logic just sort of makes sense, rather than being transported to another realm. Additionally, they live in a universe for Solo Leveling where these fighters are known as hunters.
