President Donald Trump’s new attack on Biden is probably the worst yet. He mocks Biden for doing something that we are all expected to do while the pandemic lasts. He attacks him for his habit of wearing a mask.
Yes, you read it right!!! It’s absurd, isn’t it?
What’s hard to understand is what he was hoping to achieve with the pointless remark.
Was he trying to establish that he was a tough guy? Or did he actually believe that he was making a good observation?
In the campaign rally in Pennsylvania, Trump asked the crowd, “But did you ever see a man that likes a mask as much as him”.
We are living and experiencing the devastating impact of the novel coronavirus all around the world. All of us are trapped inside our houses because, as we all know, prevention is always better than cure.
In these extreme times, the one thing that we are expected to do is to wear a mask. Not just for our safety but to ensure others’ as well.
Experts have themselves said that when it comes to Covid-19, we may be vulnerable, but we are not defenceless. Wearing a mask is one of the most powerful defence mechanism that we can use to inhibit the spread of the virus.
A virus that has taken around 190,000 lives in America and around 875,000 lives worldwide.
