To this day, Takemichi has no idea who Tenjiku really is. Kisaki, now a General Staff Officer at Tenjiku, wanted to leave a legacy as great as Toman’s and win Mikey’s approval. Kanji, overwhelmed with uncertainty, dragged Chifuyu, promising to stop any further problems, as Shuji arrived to accompany Kisaki.

Atsushi was getting ready to fight Tenjiku when the terrified Tenjiku members reported being chased by the Twin Devils of Meguro, Souya, and Nagoya. Takemichi found out that Smiley and Angry were actually brothers, and the three of them set out to confront Yokohama.
Nahoya probed Chifuyu about his altercation with Kanji as they rode. After Chifuyu tried to salvage their face by acting tough, Nahoya reminded him that Kanji was more muscular and had even beaten them.
They discussed how Kanji had defeated them when they were gang bosses in the past as part of the Twin Devils and had battled the Jugem gang. The twins admitted their defeat, saying they didn’t engage in hopeless battles.
Two members of the Tenjiku were approached for information, although their interrogation appeared hostile. Takemichi questioned if Tetta was also a time traveler out to change the course of Toman’s future for his gain and thought that he was involved. Chifuyu admonished him to keep his mind on the present and help Tenjiku.
Kanji and Mitsuya fought fiercely, both of them shocked by the other’s power. When the Haitani brothers showed up, Ran incapacitated Mitsuya, much to Kanji’s chagrin. They were waiting for Toman to be at its weakest before attacking.
Even though Takemichi and company made it to Tenjiku’s lair, they were vastly outnumbered. One of Tenjiku’s chiefs, Kakucho, challenged Nahoya to a fight, and Nahoya agreed to go first.
However, Kakucho insisted that he fight Takemichi before anyone else. Takemichi landed a punch, and to everyone’s surprise, Kakucho went down from it. He had known Kakucho since he was a kid, he realized suddenly.
They got back in touch, but Kakucho now looked up to Izana, the head of the Tenjiku tribe. Kakucho told Takemichi that he was helpless to assist him but that there was a traitor within the Toman ranks.
