Bandai Namco Studios has finally shown off Tekken 8 after seven long years. The first video shows that the game will have great gameplay and take place after the events of Tekken 7.

When Will Tekken 8 Be Released?
It is highly doubtful that the game will be available for purchase at any time in the near future. The game’s release is not anticipated until, at the earliest late 2023 or, more realistically, 2024. There is currently no confirmed release schedule for Tekken 8 as this article is being written.
Tekken 8 Gameplay & Story
The narrative of Tekken 8 will center on two of the game’s central characters, Jin Kazama and his father, Kazuya Mishima. It will continue the heartbreaking saga of father-and-son rivalries.
After the events of Tekken 7, in which Jin declares his intention to eliminate Kazuya and the Mishima bloodline along with him, the new entry of Tekken 8, which will continue the story, will be released.

The Executive Producer and Director of Bandai Namco Studio, Katsuhiro Harada, wrote on the PlayStation Blog: “This trailer was taken directly from a certain part in the current work-in-progress version of Tekken 8’s story mode, which is played on PlayStation 5.” In other words, all the character models, scenery, and effects are the same ones that are used in the game.
“This was taken from the story mode, but it’s not a pre-rendered movie made for the trailer. Instead, it’s real-time rendered footage running at 60 frames per second, which is how you would experience the game in versus battle modes.”
Aside from these facts, no other information has come out about the story. However, we will try to update this story as soon as new information comes out.

Which Consoles And Platforms Can Play Tekken 8?
Tekken 8 will come out on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. There are no signs of a Switch port, and the game doesn’t seem to be coming to the PS4 or Xbox One from the last generation. This is probably because the older gear and the game’s use of Unreal Engine 5 don’t work well together.
