Netflix’s “Selling Sunset” has given the world of high-end real estate brokerage a well-earned moment in the spotlight — no pun intended — with its trove of personal intrigue, lifestyle ASMR, unimaginably expensive property, and dazzling haute couture delights. For the past four seasons, the Los Angeles-based reality series has given viewers an inside look at the Oppenheim Group, a prestigious Los Angeles real estate firm, and the personal lives of its mostly-female agents.
Season 4, which premiered on Netflix on November 24, 2021, featured some of the most bombastic drama yet for the Oppenheim girls, thanks to one Christine Quinn. It’s no secret that the show’s most controversial character, the queen bee, has ratcheted up her game in the latest batch of episodes, putting her future at the Oppenheim Group in jeopardy. Season 5’s climactic showdown with Mary Fitzgerald has set the stage for even more laughs, but when can we expect it to be available on Netflix?

‘Selling Sunset’ fans had to endure an excruciatingly long hiatus between seasons 3 and 4. The show didn’t return for another year and a half and a half between its August 2020 and November 2021 return dates.
Fortunately, it appears that Season 5 won’t be too far off. Chrishell Stause made an exciting announcement in the comments of an Instagram post celebrating the show’s ultra-high worldwide Netflix viewership on November 26, just a few days after the new season premiered. In response to a comment from a fan named Cheyanne Chevalier, “Chrishell wrote, “Season 5 won’t be too long of a wait! They should release it already so you guys can start filming seasons 6-10 lol.” Finally, we’re done filming!”
A release date hasn’t been decided for the fifth season of Selling Sunset, but Digital Spy reports that it will launch in the spring of 2022.
We have no idea why there was a three-week lag between these two posts, but the important thing is that Season 5 is officially over. As a result, it’s only a matter of time before it appears on our television screens. The two-and-a-half-month gap between Seasons 2 and 3 could be our best hope for a short wait.
Who will be returning to the show for Season 5?
“Selling Sunset” has been renewed for a second season by Netflix since it was first announced that the show would return for a fourth season. As of the time of the announcement, the cast included the Oppenheim brothers, Chrishell Stause and Davina Potratz along with Romain Bonnet, Heather Rae Young and Amanza Smith as well as Chrishell and Christine Quinn. At the time, the cast had been announced as “returning.”
In Season 4, Vanessa Villela and Emma Hernan joined the cast as newcomers, and they all appeared. As for whether or not the returning cast will return for both of the ordered seasons, there’s little reason to doubt it. So far, everything points to the same cast members returning for Season 5, including newcomers Villela and Hernan, especially given that it appears to have been shot immediately following Season 4 — possibly even back-to-back.

Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim’s relationship will finally be made public in the upcoming season of this reality show, and we can’t wait for it. During a vacation in Capri, Italy in July 2021, Chrishell and Jason shared photos of themselves with Mary Fitzgerald and her husband, Romain Bonnet, and Jason’s twin brother Brett. Once they hear about it, Heather Rae-Young and Amanza Smith are going on vacation to Greece and say it’s “insane” and “I knew before they told me.”
Before sharing a kiss with her beau, Chrishell dismisses the criticism, saying: “We’re not criminals, we didn’t do anything wrong.” By the time season five came to an end in December, it’s not clear if the show will see the rise and fall of their romance in the same batch of episodes. Unfortunately, Maya Vander, who announced her third pregnancy during season four, revealed in December that her baby had died. Preparations for the birth of her unborn child will continue to be shown in the upcoming episodes. In light of the heartbreaking news, it’s unclear how the team will address or edit this. Is there a teaser for Selling Sunset: Season 5 yet to be released?
Just two weeks before the Netflix premiere of “Selling Sunset” season 4, the show’s official trailer was released. The Season 5 trailer is expected to follow a similar schedule, so we won’t see it until the season is just about to premiere. Season 4’s one-minute sneak peek, which can be seen on Netflix’s Facebook page, is all we have to go on for the time being. The fling between Chrishell and Jason is the big nugget of behind-the-scenes information to emerge from the Season 5 shoot.
