Power: Raising Kanan Season 2 Release Date
Yes! More than a week before the premiere of season one, the second season was confirmed by the show’s creators.
With fresh episodes currently in production and set to be released in a matter of weeks, it’s clear that the show’s cast is working hard to expedite production.
Jeffrey Hirsch, Starz’s president, and CEO explained the decision to move forward with the current season. “One season isn’t enough to tell the coming of age story of Kanan Stark and his mother, Raq, a fierce and successful woman who is a force of nature.
“The anticipation globally for more of the Power Universe made it clear that the Kanan story needs to continue.”
As it stands, that’s all we have to go on, save for the fact that the new series is expected to premiere sometime in 2022.
This means that Raising Kanan might be published in conjunction with the first season of the show, which lasted from July to September last year.

Power: Raising Kanan Season 2 Cast
Mekai Curtis will reprise his role as Kenan, while Patina Miller will continue as Raquel.
This family of music lovers is complete once again with the return of Lou-Lou (Malcolm Mays), Marvin (London Brown), and Jukebox (Hailey Kilgore).
Omar Epps, who was shot and survived, will reprise his role as Detective Howard in the show’s third season.
Unique’s Joey Bada$, Symphony Bosket’s Toby Sandeman, Shanley Caswell’s Shannon Burke, and Shawn ‘Famous’ Figueroa actor Antonio Ortiz are all likely to return.

Power: Raising Kanan Season 2 Plot
Given that he had already been detained for the crime, Raquel, Unique’s mother, is trying to implicate him in the robbery. But will the detective go through with the plot in order to safeguard his son?
Meanwhile, Kanan has relocated to Maryland, but his ties to the gang in South Jamaica, New York remain strong, and he is unaware that the officer he shot is his father.
Even though Raquel initially tried to keep him away from her drug trafficking activities, she has been observed incorporating him into the family company.
Curtis suggested that the following episodes will focus on the ramifications of everyone’s behavior, and how it in turn affects the rest of us.
