A blog article about the passing of Paul Stoddard in which the writer discusses the impact and significance of his life.
Paul Stoddard, the lead singer of the Boston metalcore band Diecast, has passed away. Diecast drummer Dennis Pavia told the sad news. He posted a touching tribute to his late bandmate and close friend on Facebook.
“I don’t know what to say and I’m completely broken,” Pavia wrote. “You are a member of the band, a friend, and a brother. As I write this, a thousand band/tour memories and stories just went through my head in a split second. From making music to traveling all over, arguing to laughing so hard it hurts… I’m going to miss you. Pauly died.”
Stoddard joined Diecast in 2003 and played on their last two albums, Tearing Down Your Blue Skies (2004) and Internal Revolution (2006). Stay strong.
