Anime series based on a visual novel, Meiji Tokyo Renka. A mobile game first, then a PlayStation version, and eventually a series. In June 2012, it was released as a book. Then in January 2019, it aired again. There are a total of 12 episodes in the series, each lasting around 23 minutes.
Romantic, supernatural, reverse harem and historical anime are some of the genres in which this series takes place. Funimation acquired the rights to air it as an anime in the winter of 2019. It received a rating of 6.99 from MAL (My Anime List).

Meiji Tokyo Renka Season 2 Release Date
It has been a long time coming, and I know that you have been eagerly awaiting it. That’s all I’m going to say about it. Gomenasai! No additional information about the next season will be released at this time! There is also no more story to tell, so the studio has no choice but to wrap things up. Both TMS and Crunchyroll have yet to make a remark on a possible renewal of their contract.
Even though it’s beautiful animation, it’s not well known. Producers aren’t interested in spending their time or money on a game with merely a 6.99 rating. As an average-rated anime, the feedback hasn’t been all that great. In other words, we haven’t heard any word concerning the renewal. It’s being kept quiet by the rest of the squad. As a result, you can be certain that it won’t be returning. This is a big miracle even if it is returning! This year is not included in TMS’s plans for the next year. It’s a real shame!

Meiji Tokyo Renka Storyline
Mei Ayazuki, a high school student, meets a wandering magician called Charlie on the night of the red moon. Mei, an introverted young woman, is smitten with him at first sight. He takes her back in time to the Meiji era. The men she encounters there are real historical people from her day, as well as others. In time, she becomes a part of their lives and begins to associate with them as well.
Mei has a unique talent: she has the ability to glimpse into the spirits of the deceased. With her strength, she joins the guys on their journeys. For her, every day is a new experience. It’s not only her admirers who are smitten with her. It’s clear that this is an RH because of the label. Despite this, she falls head over herself in love with Mori, Ougai. But will Mei return to her home when the full moon approaches? In her freshly established house, or in the Meiji era?
The anime is worth seeing. If you like Mei and the narrative, you’ll fall in love.
