At first, the Kannada version of the movie was a huge hit. Since it came out in dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, this Rishab Shetty movie has been making a tonne of money at the box office.
We said a few days ago that it was the third highest-grossing Kannada film of all time around the world. Now, it’s moved up one level.
According to the most recent news, Kantara has made a huge 193 crores net (all languages) at the Indian box office in just 27 days. It equals 227.74 crores gross. When you add the 15.30 crores gross from overseas, the worldwide total goes up to 243.04 crores gross.
With this, the movie has made more money than KGF Chapter 1, which made 240 crores. It is the second highest-grossing Kannada film in the world right now.
KGF Chapter 2 is number one with a gross of 1230 crores. This is more than 987 crores than Kantara, which is a record. Let’s see if any Kannada movie can do better than KGF 2 in the near future. If anyone is to blame, it would be KGF Chapter 3.
