Kakashi Face Reveal Episode? In episode 101, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura determined they had to know what their teacher’s face looked like under that mask, despite the fact that the reason for his habitual mask use remains a mystery to viewers.
One of Naruto’s hypotheses was that he was actually quite hideous on the inside, with features like buck teeth or cod roe lips.
Despite Team 7’s entertaining antics throughout the episode, all Kakashi ends up revealing is that he is actually wearing… another mask.
Kakashi’s devoted following sighed and gave up hope of ever learning the truth about the man behind the mask. The riddle was finally solved in a filler episode of Naruto Shippuden last week, much to the delight of the show’s viewers.

Naruto’s never-ending to finally see Kakashi’s face is evident in episode 469 (wow, 368 episodes passed between the first mention of it and the actual disclosure!).

An unknown ninja by the name of Sukae appears and suggests looking through the ninja registration records for a photo of Kakashi’s entire face, a suggestion that Sakura and Sasuke initially dismiss as tired.

Sukae offers his assistance on the condition that he is able to publish the story as a major scoop if he is successful.
They get past the ANBU guards and into the secret document storage location, where they were about to disclose the photo of Kakashi before they were caught.
Sukae offers the alternative of photographing Kakashi just before mealtime. However, when they look at the images, they see that a bird got in the way, and then Kiba’s dog, Akamaru, jumped across Kakashi’s face.
In his despair, Sasuke cries out, “I feel like some kind of divine force is at work here.”
Team 7 tries to rally their other ninja trainees for one more attempt by hatching a plan that will require everyone’s special skills. Predictably, this also backfires, as it turns out that Kakashi had been pretending to be Sukae, a photographer, in order to prank his students and bring them closer together.
Kakashi’s bishounen good looks are on full display for admirers when he sheds his mask, but Naruto and his companions never get to see them. Naturally attractive, he must be, right? His scar appears to extend onto his cheek, and he has a mole on his chin as well.
Bonus footage shows Kakashi dressed as a ninja and prepared to put on his mask.
Once, in a manga sketch featured in a booklet handed away at the Naruto art exhibition in Japan last April, Naruto author Masashi Kishimoto briefly exposed Kakashi’s face.
