The indictment also said that Young Thug, who is 31 years old, started the YSL gang and was involved in crimes in 2013 and 2018. He is still in jail until his trial on January 4, when the jury will be chosen.
Dorrah, Young Thug’s sister, is telling his fans about the rapper’s mental health while he is in Cobb County Jail waiting for his trial to start in January 2023.
In a tweet from Sunday, July 10, Dorrah said that she had gone to see her brother.

Thug’s friends, like Lil Baby and his ex-girlfriend Jerrika Karlae, who have also talked to him, agree with what she said.
“Yeah, I spoke to him,” Jerrika told The Progress Report Podcast in June. “He’s doing good, actually, and he’s in great spirits. I feel like this is just a moment for him to learn a lot of lessons.”
Thug was named in a 56-count indictment in May 2022. He, rapper Gunna, and 26 other alleged YSL members were arrested and charged with crimes like murder and armed robbery.
