Chrissy Teigen talks about her birthday, which was quiet but still great.
The Cravings author shared scenes from her day on Instagram Reel on Thursday. She started by showing a video of herself admiring her baby bump in the mirror.
She started the video by saying, “Here’s what I did for my 37th birthday.” She showed how she ate pizza, hung out with friends, and watched The Office and Below Deck.
A clip of her sorting through “some baby stuff” in a crowded room was also part of the day. In the end, Teigen admitted that she had accused her husband John Legend of “not doing anything for my birthday when I told him not to.” The video showed Legend looking at Teigen with a confused expression before shrugging her off and walking away.
“I’ve never done less for my birthday and I couldn’t be happier,” she added on Twitter Wednesday evening.
The couple already has a 4-1/2-year-old son named Miles Theodore and a 6-1/2-year-old daughter named Luna Simone. They are expecting another child in 2023.
Last month, the model posted pictures of a cosy weekend with her family, including one of Luna cuddled up close and ready to kiss her bare baby bump.
In another picture, Miles was sitting next to Teigen and had one arm on her leg as they watched a movie together.
Teigen wrote in the caption, “This weekend was.”
Teigen and Legend, who is 43, announced in August that they are going to have a baby. This came almost two years after Teigen lost a pregnancy. The cookbook author said she was worried about the pregnancy because she had lost her third child, Jack, in September 2020.
“At every appointment, I’ve told myself, ‘Okay, if it’s healthy today, I’ll tell,’ but every time I hear a heartbeat, I breathe a sigh of relief and decide I’m still too nervous,” she said.
“I don’t think I’ll ever leave an appointment with more excitement than nerves, but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful, and I feel hopeful and amazing.”
