Info about the Huawei Petal Search
As said earlier, Huawei lost access to GMS, and Google Play Store is the most important part of GMS. Google Play Store is a library of Apps, where Android users can install apps from. As Huawei smartphones are Android and lack the Google Play Store, the company has developed App Gallery. The App Gallery is very similar to Google Play Store but it lacks many apps.
To cover these limitations, the company has developed Huawei Petal Search where users can search for an app and the search engine provides a link for the user where users can download APK’s and install them. The company has added few more features to the Petal search and now it can be used as an independent search engine. Huawei’s Petal Search works almost similar to Google/Bing Search engine. It can answer queries, display images, videos, and news. The UI of the app looks very similar to the Google app and Huawei is trying its best to be Google independent.
