Is Honkai Star Rail coming to PS4 & PS5 ?
Right now, there’s no exact date when Honkai: Star Rail will be available on PS4 and PS5. But, Yang Yu, the Lead Programmer at HoYoverse, said on the official PlayStation blog that it will come out “in the near future.” Suppose we look at Genshin Impact, its PS4 version was released when the game came out in September 2020.

The PS5 version came later in April 2021. We might see a similar timing for Honkai: Star Rail, but we should wait for the official announcement to be sure. Honkai Star Rail Gameplay
Honkai: Star Rail is a game where you control a team of characters to explore planets and galaxies. It’s a turn-based tactical RPG, which means you take turns to decide what your characters do in battles. You have special abilities for each character, and you can also use items and the environment to your advantage. The goal is to defeat all the enemy characters before they defeat you.
As you play, you’ll face puzzles and challenges that you need to solve using your characters’ abilities, items, or the environment. When you overcome these challenges, you get rewards that help make your characters and gear better.
The game looks really good, and it has an interesting story. The battles are fun and can be quite challenging. There’s also a card system that lets you customize how your characters’ abilities work. How to join Honkai Star Rail beta Technical Test on PS5 & PS4
You can sign up for the Honkai Star Rail PlayStation beta, also called the “Technical Test Recruitment,” until August 28 at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM BST. Make sure to sign up before that date. The technical test itself will begin on September 4 at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM BST.
If you want to join the Honkai Star Rail technical test, here’s what you should do:
- Go to the Honkai Star Rail Technical Test website.
- Click the Sign-Up button.
- Log In with your HoYoverse account (or create a new one if you don’t have one).
- Click Start and complete the Survey to finish the registration.
- Click the X to close the pop-up and you’ll see another one saying your sign-up was successful.
During the technical test, players who log in will receive a four-piece set of the Musketeer of Wild Wheat Relic as a reward. Furthermore, Trailblazers on all platforms can earn various rewards by achieving pre-registration milestones:
