Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash is a Japanese fantasy anime series based on the same-named light book series. The light book series, written by Ao Jyumonji and drawn by Eiri Shirai, debuted on June 25, 2013.
The light novel series was translated into a manga series a few years after its first release, with Mutsumi Okuhashi serving as the artist.
The manga series debuted on April 22, 2015, and was turned into an anime television series a year later. Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash Season 1 began on January 11, 2016, and was an instant smash with fans of the original material and new viewers. Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash Season 2 Release Date
Season 1 of Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash debuted on January 11, 2016, and concluded on March 28, 2016. During Season 1, a special episode titled Hai to Gensou no Grimgar: Furoagari no Kabe ni Kaketa Seishun – One More Centimeter was also published on March 16, 2016, much to the joy of fans.

Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash Season 2 Plot
Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash is a magical program set in the eponymous fantasy land of Grimgar, following a party of adventurers who get stuck there.
The episode begins with a party of adventurers discovering themselves in Grimgar, a weird and wonderful realm.
With no recollection of how they arrived and just a hazy recollection of their identities, these heroes must fight against various bizarre beasts. The heroes discover just one law in this strange world: kill or be killed.

With this setting, the program follows a group of adventurers forming a party and attempting to survive Grimgar’s hellish surroundings. The group is commanded by a flamboyant priest named Manato and includes:
- A nervous thief named Haruhiro.
- A happy hunter named Yume.
- A bashful wizard named Shihoru.
- A gentle warrior named Moguzo.
- A rowdy knight named Ranta.
Although each party member is highly powerful and seems similar to the others, they have quite distinct personalities.
Despite their disparate and sometimes opposing personalities, the party must band together and watch out for one another if they live in Grimgar’s terrible world. Unlike gaming worlds, Grimgar is a real location with real repercussions, and once you die, there is no coming back.
