Corona Virus has shaken the entire world. The Nations has announced lockdown and they are necessary because Viruses have varying abilities to infect people. There is no treatment or a vaccine for the COVID – 19. Stopping human contact is the only way to stop the spread of the virus. Essentially, when there is less contact between people, the less the virus can spread. Many nations have taken an oath to practice Social Distancing. The best way to ensure people’s safety is to have minimal contact with each other. During lockdowns, people are allowed to leave their houses in emergencies, like getting food or medicine. The best practice is to maintain social distancing instead of leaving home.

Role of Google Security on Corona Virus Scammers:

As I have said before, the company always prioritizes users’ privacy and security. The company has even collaborated with Apple to develop COVID-19 Contact Tracing Technology. Google is developing application programming interfaces (APIs) and operating system-level technology to assist in enabling contact tracing. These Softwares not only help people but also helps governments, with the data from the Apps, the Government can easily analyze the situation and take measures.

Many hackers have taken advantage of this sensitive situation and are performing many un-ethical actions. Recently, a hospital in the Czech Republic has been interrupted by a cyberattack. It happened when they are treating patients and running coronavirus tests. This is a very serious issue to consider. According to some reports, there has been a massive increase in attacks by Hackers. Powerful organizations such as WHO and HHS were victims of the Cyber Attacks.

Companies like Microsoft have offered free security services to frontline organizations. Now Google is also taking measures to keep its users safe from these Scammers and Hackers. As per Google claims, the company is receiving 18 million hoax emails daily, which is a very serious thing to consider.

Considering the situation, Google has taken its step and designed machine-learning tools which can block more than 99.9% of emails from reaching its users. Though the situation is very critical, Google has never given up before. Let us hope for the best to happen.
