Before Sam’s delusions take over and urge him to kill Dr. Cardosa (Marco Pigossi), who was responsible for his treatment in the Woods, he and Emma bond over their everyday experience. To alert Marie (Jaz Sinclair) and the rest of God U, Emma travels back to campus.
Meanwhile, for his True Crime series The Whole Truth, Vought has sent Robert Vernon, aka Tek Knight (Derek Wilson), to God U. Tek Knight plans to frame a nave student for Luke’s death to divert attention away from the Woods, but ultimately decides to blame Dean Shetty (Shelley Conn).
Shetty, however, is not one to give up quickly, and if Knight doesn’t back off and leave the school alone, she threatens to leak security tape showing him shoving his penis in a number of holes.
Most of the episode focuses on Marie’s efforts to locate Emma after she went missing after Andre (Chance Perdomo) sent her into the woods to look for Sam.
She eventually reveals that Jordan (London Thor and Derek Luh), and not her, stopped Luke’s rampage during an interrogation by Knight in the middle of class. It’s fitting that Jordan and Marie cave to the mounting tension between them just as Emma gets back.
Sam’s plan is revealed to Marie, Jordan, Andre, and Cate (Maddie Phillips) by Emma, and they resolve to try to thwart him. They make it to Dr. Cardosa’s house in time, but Sam doesn’t trust Andre and Marie enough to stop once he realizes they helped him escape the first time.
Emma grows enormous and assaults him, but then they both wake up in bed with Marie and Jordan, having no idea how they got there. Did Sam tamper with their recollections? Or is something more sinister afoot, perhaps having to do with Vought?
