Enola Holmes 2 should be getting closer, as the Netflix sequel started filming in October 2021, after being officially confirmed earlier that year.
It was announced that Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill would reprise their roles as Enola and Sherlock Holmes, respectively, as well as writer Jack Thorne and director Harry Bradbeer.

Enola Holmes 2 Release Date: When Can We Expect Enola Holmes Sequel?
While the sequel has been confirmed by Netflix for some time, no release date for Enola Holmes 2 has been set.
As previously stated, the sequel began filming in October 2021, and Cavill revealed in late November that he had completed his final day on set. Enola Holmes 2 filming was completed by Netflix in January 2022.
Because the first film had a successful autumnal debut, it appears likely that the Enola Holmes sequel will arrive on Netflix in September 2022.

Enola Holmes 2 Plot: Netflix’s Official Synopsis For The Film is as Follows:
Enola takes on her first case as a detective, but she’ll need the help of friends – and her brother Sherlock – to solve the mystery of a missing girl.
Given the synopsis, it’s entirely possible that the sequel will pick up where the second book in Nancy Springer’s series, The Case of the Left-Handed Lady, left off. Enola sets out in the book to find the girl who created a collection of charcoal drawings. Enola begins a case to find the missing artist after discovering her identity and learning that she has gone missing. She accomplishes all of this while concealing her identity from those who would prefer her to engage in more ladylike pursuits.
Whatever the plot, Enola’s adventures are sure to be action-packed and designed to keep fans on the edge of their seats. Given that the first film’s dominant theme was women’s rights, and Enola’s refusal to conform to gendered perceptions made her a perfect symbol of women’s empowerment, it’s entirely possible that women’s rights and empowerment will be a central theme in the second film as well. Incorporating this theme would almost certainly make the sequel more relevant to the current debate.
Millie Bobby Brown made a statement about the second film, further inciting fan excitement, by saying:
