There is now a new dynamic background for Destiny 2 on Xbox. Even though the game is a first-party PlayStation title since Sony bought Bungie, this is the case.
Destiny 2 Theme For PS5
The fact that a new Destiny 2 theme for Xbox again shows no articles for PS5. Even though it’s clear that PlayStation 5 owners want pieces to return, Sony last added them in the 27 months since the console came out.
The new Xbox theme is based on the recently released Lightfall expansion, allowing players to bring the game’s style to the dashboard.

There is still no word on when themes will be available for the PS5. All users must use the same user interface for now, and there is no way to change it meaningfully.
I hope that Sony is working behind the scenes to add themes to the PS5 as soon as possible so that it can be as customizable as the PS4 generation before it.
