Is Season 4 of Daredevil on the way? Now that the Marvel Netflix series are available on Disney Plus, and both Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox have formally joined the MCU, the Man Without Fear appears destined for another big screen appearance.
Based on the Marvel hero of the same name, Daredevil followed the masked vigilante in his efforts to clean up Hell’s Kitchen in New York. By day, he was Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer, but at night, he donned a costume and used his enhanced senses to combat organized crime in ways that the system couldn’t.
The show debuted on the streaming service in 2015 and was praised for its dark tone and intense character portrayal. After Netflix’s contract with Marvel expired in 2018, it was canceled. But now, thanks to Disney Plus, we know the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen is back. When can you expect Daredevil Season 4 to be released? We’ve gathered every piece of information we can about Hell Kitchen’s defender and assembled it for you.
Daredevil Season 4 Premiere Date Speculation
Daredevil season 4, or as it is now known, Daredevil: Born Again, will be available for streaming in spring 2024. The release date was revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con when Marvel Studios unveiled its plans for Marvel Phase 5 and 6.
Variety reports that Matt Corman and Chris Ord are attached to write. No release date has been announced, but rumor has it that Daredevil will be back on the hunt in summer 2022.

Daredevil Season 4 Expected Cast
We know Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will appear in season 4 of Daredevil, and they’ve already appeared in other MCU productions. The question is whether or not other regulars will return. As Matt’s best friends, Karen Page and Franklin ‘Foggy’ Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson would be expected.
Beyond that, it’s all guesswork. Kate Bishop could appear, as there is already a connection from Hawkeye. Echo is also not ruled out. Could some of the Defenders, such as Luke Cage, The Punisher, or Jessica Jones, appear? Certainly possible; we’ll just have to wait and see.

Daredevil Season 4 Assumed Plot
We don’t know what Daredevil season 4 will be about, but we expect Kingpin to be the antagonist. Now that it is firmly embedded in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there may be a greater emphasis on the franchise as a whole, and we can probably expect a slight tone shift so that it is not quite as gritty as the Netflix version.
All of this to say, expect more of Matt attempting to bring down Wilson, who is up to some nefarious scheme or another. The other villains who appear will make or break the story. Bullseye is due for a return after we last saw him having his spine repaired at the end of Season 3.
Other options include Mr. Fear and Jester, both of whom present unexpected challenges to Matt and his distinct moral code. Whatever it is, we can be certain that all roads will eventually lead back to the Kingpin.
Daredevil and other Marvel TV shows will be available on Disney+
Daredevil and other Marvel TV shows such as Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher, and The Defenders were removed from Netflix in March 2022. Disney announced on March 1 that these shows, as well as the ABC Marvel series Agents of SHIELD, would be added to Disney+ on March 16.
Because the Marvel shows on Netflix are mature-rated, Disney+ has introduced new parental controls to prevent their children from viewing dark scenes and themes found in these Marvel shows.
These Marvel shows are now available on Disney+ in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. These titles will be added to other Disney+ regions later this year, according to Disney.
Daredevil Season 4 Trailer
There is currently no trailer for Daredevil Season 4. Existing TV episodes, on the other hand, do count? Wilson Fisk’s appearance in Hawkeye feels like an introduction to more Daredevil. He’s trying to rebuild his empire, but it’s not going well. Who can stop him if he starts taking it out on those around him?
Otherwise, no teaser or anything has been released because nothing has been filmed that we are aware of. Don’t expect one anytime soon. Marvel and Disney haven’t even announced it yet, and with the MCU Phase 4 slate already jam-packed, it could be a while before Daredevil returns to the spotlight.
FAQ:
Will Daredevil return to MCU?
Hawkeye and Daredevil share the same Kingpin, according to Vincent D’Onofrio. The Marvel Studios president has confirmed that Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Daredevil.
Why did Daredevil have a yellow suit?
In Marvel Comics, Murdock created his prototype Daredevil suit out of his father’s boxing gear, transforming his trunks, boots, and robe into his superhero outfit. The Marvel vigilante’s yellow costume was a fitting tribute to his father, honoring the man he admired as a child.
Why is Daredevil red?
The suit is designed to resemble the Devil, complete with horns on the cowl helmet, based on Murdock’s devout Catholicism. This was emphasized by the red color scheme, which contributed to his media name: Daredevil.
