Burden Of Truth Plot
Joanna Hanley is compelled to return to her hometown after high-school students suffer unexplained ailments. There, she makes a concerted effort to persuade residents that she had nothing to do with her family’s hasty departure when she was a teenager.
She quickly becomes absorbed into a world ruled by hackers, political groups, and activists.
When Joanna becomes a target of the threats, someone seems to intervene and attempt to alter the course of events. Apart from the legal battle, Joanna finds herself amid a community plagued by a growing unemployment rate.
Joana’s legal license was ultimately suspended for a year. Despite these obstacles, Joana had a well-deserved happy ending. She and Billy had an intimate encounter, which she refers to as a “counter-proposal.”
