After two years of marriage, Angelina Pivarnick of Jersey Shore and her husband Chris Larangeira are splitting up.
PEOPLE has confirmed that Larangeira, who is 42, filed for divorce from Pivarnick, who is 35, on January 20 in New Jersey. The county clerk said that Larangeira gave the reason for the divorce as “irreconcilable differences.”The first place to report the news was the Sun.
The last time Pivarnick filed for divorce was just over a year ago, in January 2021. The case was eventually dropped in September.
On Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Pivarnick has been honest about the trouble in her marriage. In an episode that aired last year, she was upset that her sex life with Larangeira was “nonexistent.”
She told Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Deena Cortese, “It’s like, we’ll fight, and whoever starts it won’t want to bang.” “So he doesn’t want to bang, neither do I, and neither does anyone else.”
She said, “I am by no means perfect. I’m not the best wife in the world. I yell at him and sometimes make fun of him. I think both of us are wrong. But you see how I’m telling you? He will never say he was wrong.”

Chris, Angelina’s husband, wonders whether their life would have been ‘easier’ if they hadn’t been famous.
During the episode, Pivarnick said in a confessional that aired, “At this point, we don’t have any sex, and to be honest, I don’t know if our relationship can be saved. This isn’t a good thing.”
In a more recent episode of the reality show, Pivarnick said she was thinking about freezing her eggs, but she told Cortese, 35, and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi that she was “scared” to have kids.
She said in front of the cameras, “People, don’t get it wrong. I’m not as old as s—. I have fillers and Botox, so I look like the fountain of youth, but my biological clock is ticking.”
Pivarnick also said that she and her husband had been going to couple’s therapy, but she told her friends, “I don’t really know if it’s helping.”

Pivarnick intimated at the time that her relationship might be ending.
“Right now, things are extremely f—— up between Chris and me,” she admitted. “And I’m like, “What the f— do I do now?” If I’m going to stay in my marriage or leave it, this is a huge decision.”
In 2016, Larangeira and Pivarnick began dating. In 2018, he proposed to Pivarnick, marking her third engagement, and the couple married in a televised ceremony in 2019.
